Portofino Napier | Established Italian Restaurant
Ready to take over a 95-seat Italian restaurant in Napier, Hawkes Bay?Trading since 2017, this Italian restaurant has stayed in the same premises. It sits on Clive Square, which has just undergone a wonderful refurbishment. Outdoor dining is available in warmer months under an outdoor seating licence.
Two working owners fill the full-time head chef and pizza chef roles. Four front-of-house staff support service.
• 95-seat venue, with 83 indoor and 12 outdoor seats
• Outdoor dining available in warmer months
• Working owners lead the kitchen
• Clear service process links kitchen and front of house
• The lease runs until 3 January 2029
This is a franchise and the new owner will need Franchisor approval and will get a new Franchise Agreement. Being part of a franchise means better supplier margins and support with new menu and product ideas.
The two chefs and two full-time family-held roles will leave when sold, so a buyer will need to recruit for four roles. A new owner could build customer channels and increase promotion through the existing operation.
An established Italian restaurant with a clear service process. Current staff have family commitments, therefore many requests for functions are turned away. This is clear area for growth just waiting for the new owner to take advantage of it.
"Home" is calling the current owners, opening up a great opportunity for a keen 'foodie' to take on this well established brand and help it grow even more.
